Patriot Majority USA: Patriot Majority USA (http://www.patriotmajority.org/) announced a significant new ad buy today in the Montana Senate race, highlighting Congressman Denny Rehberg's too-close-for-comfort relationship with special interests.
According to Craig Varoga, President of Patriot Majority USA:
"Montanans aren't looking for a typical Washington politician to represent them in the Senate, and that's just who they would get with Congressman Rehberg. Patriot Majority USA and Majority PAC are making sure that Montanans know the truth about Congressman Rehberg's record of taking special interest money and then voting their way."
The script of the ad, titled "Wanted," is below in its entirety:
"It ought to be a crime. But for Congressman Rehberg, it's business as usual. Voting himself pay raises while billing taxpayers over a hundred thousand for cars and SUVs. Taking nearly five hundred grand from Wall Street and banks...then voting their way. Like pushing to privatize Social Security...Which could mean billions for Wall Street. Congressman Rehberg: What's wrong with Washington!"
Majority PAC and Patriot Majority USA are leading the Democratic independent-expenditure response to the right-wing attacks on Democratic Senators and candidates fronted by Karl Rove's Crossroads organizations.
